Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) is a marking scheme for NOUN, and it contributes 30% of the student total mark. Point to Note, this same as Test in other learning institutions.
The Student is expected to answer or submit Three (3) NOUN TMA. Then, her Best three solved TMAs will be selected and marked by 30%.
The Assignment is to be done at your pace and convince in as much as you don’t exceed the giving time (deadline) for submission because it has a closing date.
Then, the final examination takes 70% score mark hence, making TMAs necessary if a student must come out with a more excellent result.

HOW TO TAKE TMA ON NOUN PORTAL
1. Go to the National Open University Of Nigeria NOUN website > www.nouonline.net
2. Click on “STUDENT”, click on “Log in” at the Nouonline Portal Login Page, enter your matric number, password and click the “Submit“ button.
Now you should be on your Nouonline student profile page.
3. In the NOUN studware menu options. Click on “2021/2 TMA 1“ (You will be asked to log in again, enter your matric number, password and click the “Submit“ button)

4. Scroll down and click on TAKE TMA 1, TMA 2 OR TMA 3

I am sick and tired every u stabilize system operating here.i can’t access my portal again for TMA2.I missed TMA1 too just because the school site has problems when I was ready to do it before the pandemic issue till it closed down and now TMA2 again.What’s all this frustration for.I beg upon all sleepless nights.No email s,invade there’s problem or upgrade.No correlated information s on all the links.Why on Earth do they have our contacts.There is too much frustrations here.

Since you can’t be in the school to lodge these complains, I suggest that you take your time at dead hour of the night to assess the portal, it works for me.

I have a TCE of 174 and I have passed all the Courses I have taken in NOUN Jos study centre their is this course Entire 210 that is not examinable entrepreneurship studies their is also Ent 210 a seminar course do accounting students do seminar courses and since the change some course code I have passed the course that they change the course code since 2017 but the course with new course code but the same course title in the beginning of the year in my portal a course like a new course code For 202 the old course code of the course I passed is SMS 101 , SMS 205 , STT 206
