This is to inform the general public and most especially all the New/Returning students of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) that the management of the institution has released the NOUN academic calendar for the year 2024 First and Second semester academic session.

NOUN ADMISSION FOR 2024_1 SEMESTER
The application form for admission into the National Open University Of Nigeria programme is opened, Course and Exam Registration are also open. Aspirants can apply and upload their credentials online for the clearance process.
According to the academic calendar, all registration was schedule to close on the 21st April 2024.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Facilitation (Online Lectures) at all NOUN eLearning portals will commence on Monday, 12th February 2024. You should also collect your Textbooks/Course materials at your study Centre within this period.
- All registrations in the 2024 First Semester end in April 21st 2024
- Matriculation will take place on Friday, 3rd May, 2024
- 2024 Convocation (Graduation) will take place on Friday, 12th – Saturday, 13th April, 2024 – see NOUN 2024 Graduation List
- NOUN IT/SIWES defence would run for 4weeks
- Pen on Paper (POP [Hand written) examinations (It is for OLDER students in 300L to 800L) this exam will begin on the Tuesday, 7th – Thursday, 30th May, 2024
- E-Examination exercise (Computer Based – It’s for new students in 100L to 200L) this exam will begins on the Tuesday, 4th June – Monday, 1st July, 2024
- Project Moderation and Defense will be held from Monday, 8th – Friday, 12th July, 2024
- 2024_1 Result will be released on Wednesday, 31st July, 2024

please, i am 400 level student of noun my area of discipline is political science, since 2018 july i finished my project, waiting for the graduating list to come out unfortunately my name wasn’t there, i waited for the next list the same thing occur, so when i went to the headquater to rectify the issue, i was made to know that 3 courses is holding me, so when i wanted to register, for the courses, the portal has already closed for registeration, then i waited for the year 2020, before i could register the lockdown and other things, now this year i want to register for the 3 courses, so that i can graduate, but my portal is not opning, and i have register for the semester, and is writing undergraduate enrollment, i should start from 100 level, and upload my credentials what will i do.
