NOUN Prepares For Convocation As Prof Patrick Eya Inaugurates Ceremonial Committee

Outgoing Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, NOUN, Prof Patrick Eya, today inaugurated the Ceremonials Committee in preparation for the upcoming Convocation ceremony.The committee is responsible for organizing the various ceremonies of the university.

The Convocation ceremony has been slated for January, pending the ratification of the date by the University Senate, whose meeting is scheduled for tomorrow.The Ceremonials Committee consists of sub-committees that include those of protocol, security, media, and publicity, which were also set in motion at the inauguration ceremony. Prof Eya, the chairman of the Ceremonials Committee, charged the members of the committee to be committed to the success of the tasks entrusted to them.


The DVC Administration, Prof Victor Adedipe; the Bursar, Mr. Earnest Odeigha; the Librarian, Dr. Adam Gambo Saleh, the Director of Works, Arc. Abubakar Alfa, and his Media counterpart, Malam Ibrahim Scheme, amongst others, were present at the meeting that took place inside the Senate Chamber.
