The 12th Inaugural Lecture of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) will take place on Wednesday in Abuja.
It will be delivered by the Head of the university’s Department of Religious Studies, Prof. Olubiyi Adeniyi Adewale.
A statement from the Dean, Post-Graduate School, Dr. Mande Samaila, indicated that the theme of the lecture is “Africanisation of Hermeneutics: An Excursus into Jesus’ Parabolic Discourses”.
The lecture will take place at noon at the university’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
A cursory look at the lecturer’s biodata shows that he knows his onions in the field he is tackling in the watershed presentation.
